Easter 2009

In my last blog, I said that the Fair was the last event of the week. I of course forgot about the most important event of Spring Break: Easter. What a great time of year! It's starting to get warm outside and nice, and it's also a time to remember one of the most important events of all time: the Resurrection. I'm so thankful for this amazing event and for its significance, and I'm glad that we are able to recognize it.

In our home, we also enjoy the other part of Easter: the Easter Bunny. The kids woke up to some fun stuff and had a great time eating candy and enjoying their baskets. Here's their baskets before they came to see:

Here they are with their baskets:

I forgot to get a picture of them before going to church, so they are a little bit ruffled in these pictures, taken after church:

After church (and after getting a pictures taken) we all changed clothes and headed over to Grandma Anderson-Lightman's for some Easter activity fun. We colored eggs, ate some wonderful food, and had an Easter egg hunt afterwards. The kids enjoy looking all over their grandma's yard for the eggs. Grandpa is trying to find more difficult places to hide the eggs now that some of the kids are getting older. Here are some pictures of William and Caleb enjoying the hunt:

This last picture is Caleb having a fun time dressing up like the Easter Bunny! What a cutie!
