Here's another shot up towards the elementary school. This was the Monday snow storm and the kids are actually in school during this picture.
Ryan was able to take some great shots of the snow on the surrounding mountains.
It was fun to see all of the foothills and surrounding mountains and hills covered in snow that do not regularly have anything at all.The kids had a good time playing in it also, even though it snowed so late on Wednesday that we had to wait until Thursday and it melted a little before we got to it...

Snow in Vegas is rare enough that I just happened to be out of town the only time that it snowed and stuck, I was out of town for most of the day and it had melted by the time I got back late that afternoon. Looks nice to see the mountains there covered in snow. Looks fun to see your kids playing in the snow in Vegas.

Lucky! My kids got the snow day but not the snow. It was interesting trying to explain to them why they didn't have school.
Hey Michele your kids look so cute in there winter getup. You got to use it when you can because it not that often you use it Nevada. Looks like the kids had fun.
